PHOTOS: Achimota School celebrates 90 years with ‘The Pirate of Penzance’

As part of the 90th anniversary ceremony of Achimota School, Achimotans reenacted the 1983 British-American romantic musical comedy, ‘The Pirate of Penzance’.

The pirate ship which docked at the National Theatre Saturday night had President Nana Akufo-Addo and wife, Rebecca as special guests for the occasion. Former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings was also present.

The comic opera was performed and supported by the old students including singer Irene Logan and some third-year students of the Achimota School as part of the year-long activities to celebrate the 90th anniversary of school.
